Something about death

Now here is the thing. True. You’re going to die soon. Yes. Soon.

But it does not mean that you should be stupid.

What do I mean?

You have to take care of yourself and the others. Until you die. Don’t you. Just because you’re dying doesn’t let you do anything you want to do.

You must think and do what is needed to be done.

Look at the key word there.

Needed to be done.

Means put your attention to things that matter. And do them.

Don’t be lethargic and idiotic.

Yes. You will die. So love your life well. This is all you have.

Momento mori

In stoic philosophy, it’s said to think about death. we all die. May be today.

If I were to die today, if this is my last day here, am I using my day well? That’s all.

Keep your mind on things that matter the most to you. Not the silly things. Not the silly fights and arguments.

Think about it.

“Do not seek to have everything that happens happen as you wish, but wish for everything to happen as it actually does happen, and your life will be serene.” —Epictetus
